Montessori Philosophy

Dr. Maria Montessori believed that no human being is educated by another person. She must do it by her/himself or it will never be done. A truly educated person continues learning long after s/he has left the classroom. Dr. Montessori felt that the goal of early childhood should not be to fill the child with facts from a reselected course of studies, but to cultivate the child's own natural method of learning, thus introducing the child to the joy of learning at an early age.
